Materials used:
  • Fiskars Trimmer
  • Fiskars Scissors
  • Paper from The Paper Studio
  • Ribbon from The Ribbon Boutique
  • Embossing folder from CuttleBug - Argyle
  • Punch from Stampin Up!
  • Stamps from Stampin Up! - Afterthoughts set
  • Ink from Stampin Up! - Elegant Eggplant
Thanks for coming by to see me today.  May you be blessed today!

Fiskateers - WSO - Challenge #9

Challenge #9 - Orange Goes With...

Green!

I had a lot of fun with this card.  The best part of this card, is that it could be a wedding card, or it could be a birthday card, or even a celebration card.  I am posting two pictures because once I posted this on the Fiskateer website, I just felt like it was missing something.  Here is the picture I posted for the challenge:

I added a few hearts on the sentiment, and now I think it is complete:

Materials Used:
  • Fiskars Trimmer
  • Fiskars Scissors
  • Fiskars Finger Tip Craft Knife
  • Paper from The Paper Studio
  • Paper from ColorBok
  • Embossing folder from Sizzix
  • Punch from Stampin Up!
  • Stamps from The Stamps of Life - Cake2Build set
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back tomorrow for another challenge posting!

Fiskateers - WSO - Challenge #8

Challenge #8 - Just One Inch

What a fun challenge.  I had NEVER made anything this small before.  I was kind of hard to wrap my head around it.  I wanted my entry for the challenge to be different, so what could I do?  Well, I thought I could make an envelope for my inchie.  I can't have my inchie getting cold, now can I?

Here is the Inchie:

Fiskateers - WSO - Challenge #7

Challenge #7 was Off The Paper.

I had a really hard time with this challenge.  My StazOn, didn't want to stay on anything!  I ended up stamping on an acetate envelope left over from pop dots, and wah-lah, it stuck!  Well, it kind of stuck.  I did have to wipe a couple of stamps off and try again.  But once the acrylic stamps got sticky, they started to stick on the acetate.  This is probably not my best work, but you know I put it all out there good and bad.  Here it is:

Materials used:
  • Not much to say on this project
  • Recycled acetate envelope
  • Stamps - I won these in an RAK, and I do not know the manufacturer.  They came unpacked.  If you know, let me know, so that I may give the company credit.
  • StazOn Ink- Orange and two purple colors
Come back tomorrow for the next challenge!

May your day be blessed today!

Fiskateers - WSO - Challenge #5

Challenge #5 was by the numbers.  Now please keep in mind that I am currently living in a RV Fifth Wheel Camper, so I have very limited crafting supplies.  I brought some of my Stampin Up! stamps along with my The Stamps of Life Stamps, and a few other assorted acrylic stamps.  Here is a picture of our temporary home, (we are in the process of buying a home):

That being said, I dug, and dug through my very small assortment of stamps and found one stamp set with numbers on it.  This is what I came up with for the challenge:

Materials used:
  • Fiskars Trimmer
  • Fiskars Scissors
  • Paper from The Paper Studio
  • Ribbon from my scraps - not sure
  • Stamps from Stampology
  • "my friend" stamp from The Stamps of Life - Thanks4OneYear set
Come back tomorrow for more of the WSO!

Happy day to you!

Christmas cards gift set

Here is a set of cards that I made back at Stamp Camp in November.  We made four cards and they had ivory envelopes.  Then we made a matching an oversized envelope to put the smaller cards and envelopes in.  This set was meant to give as a gift.  I kind of messed mine up, so I didn't give it as a gift.  But I will try this project again!

Have a wonderful day!

Wedding Card

Here is a card that I made at one of my Stampin Up club meetings.

We used blue ink, and a brayer on glossy paper and then embossed the card.  As always, this technique was taught to me by the awesome Vicky Frescas, my fantastic Stampin Up Demonstrator.

Fiskateers CHA Online Crop Challenges

Okay, so here are all 11 of the CHA Online challenges with descriptions below.

Challenge #1

This card is for my good friend Tracy M in Australia. I know her family has been going through some hard times with all of the flooding, so I thought I would make her day.

Paper studio card stock, stamps are from The Stamps of Life, and Stampin Up, Cuttlebug embossing folder. Used my Fiskars trimmer and scissors and a border stamp that NanaBeth sent me. Enjoy.

Challenge #2

This challenge was a demonstration challenge, so I used a technique I had learned at my Stampin Up stamp club. There are more details in the post below.

Challenge #3

Make and Take, Picnic Theme. Tools and products used: The checkerboard basket was made with my Fiskars trimmer. Other Fiskars products, scissors, and an Apple a Day Squeeze punch. Paper Studio CardStock, Stampin Up Oval Punch, and The Stamps Of Life "summer4fun" set.

Challenge #4

Make and Take-Make your own Bank-Tools and products used: Fiskars MicroTip Scissors, Ribbon, and ColorBok paper. It's kind of simple, but I think it is cute!

Challenge #5

Make something new-This is a purse tote/gift bag that I made out of a paper bag. I have been wanting to try this for a while. Tool and products used: Fiskars new gift border punch, trimmer, scallop scissors (yes I cut the cirlce out myself), scissors, and micro tip scissors. Cardstock is Paper Studio and ColorBok. Stampin Up: "Punched Posies" stamp set, ribbon and brads. Also, a little distress ink from Ranger.

Challenge #6

Tea Time in honor of Tami-Tools and products used: Fiskars trimmer and scissors, The Paper Studio paper, ribbon and EK Success Stickers. I don't drink tea and therefore I do not have much in the way of crafting, so I had to use stickers for this one.

Challenge #7

Do a demo-I tried Sandy's quilting technique. This is not my best work, but I gave it a try and it was fun! Took me a while to figure it out and I had to use a lot of adhesive to get them to stick! Thank you Sandy!

Challenge #8

SWAG-This is my make and take of a deck of cards. Tools and products used: Fiskars: Trimmer and scissors, ColorBok paper, Stampin Up punch and "July Fourth" stamp set, sand paper, and Cuttlebug stars embossing folder.

Challenge #9

Cocktail party. Tools and products used. The Paper Studio paper, Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder, and EK Success stickers. Sorry for the horrible light, it is so hard to get a good picture this time of day. And again, I didn't have any cocktail rubber stamps so I had to use stickers!

Challenge #10

Designers Showcase. This is a box that I made back in November at a Stampin Up Stamp club. I think this looks designer, and I just loved making it, it was so fun!

Challenge #11

Color My World-Here is my honeysuckle card for this challenge. Tools and Products used: Fiskars trimmer and scissors, Paper Studio and ColorBok paper, Cuttlebug Swirl Embossing folder, Stampin Up Ribbon, The Stamps of Life "hearts2love" stamp set, Studio G Glitter. Yeah I completed all of the challenges, I am so happy! This is a first!

I had so much fun participating in this CHA Online Crop.  It was a blast.  Thanks for looking everyone!
