On Valentine's Day weekend, my husband and our two puppies went camping at Caballo Lake State Park in Southern New Mexico. It was a beautiful (although short) weekend. The weather cooperated and we were able to be outside most of the day.
I thought you might want to see the other side of the fifth wheel. We bought this camper about a year ago and one of our first outings was on Valentine's Day weekend. So, we decided that maybe we could make it a tradition. We packed up our two dogs, Sandy and Shasta and put them in the back of our gorgeous Red Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel 2500. We love to go up to the lake. We is so ironic is that we live on Caballo Lake Drive in El Paso; however, there is no water on our street! So...we drive up to the real Caballo Lake to get away from it all.
